7 Mile Construction Nearly Complete

8/31/2025 update: The grass is starting to grow in along the path and boulders have been placed near the entrance.

Top soil is in place and grass planted on both sides of the new path. Traffic bollards have been installed on the paths and the bollards have a collapsible feature that would allow vehicles to pass through in an emergency.

Cement was sealed at the start of the path at 7 Mile Road to protect against winter salt from salt trucks.

Final steps include 7 Mile Road crosswalk line painting, path signage, and DTE crosswalk signal light connection and electrical inspection.
