Eagle Scouts Repair Pond Walkway

We are grateful to Eagle Scout Troop #903 who managed and recently fulfilled a project to restore a portion of the pond walkway.

The project, led by Eagle Scout Divya Weaver, was finished in 2 days (June 6-7, 2026) with 10 people supporting on each day (4 adults and 6 scouts). The troop ran a can drive and GoFundMe to raise nearly 90% of the estimated money needed to purchase boards and supplies, with The Friends of Maybury State Park contributing the remaining amount.
