DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Full Moon Night Hike through Maybury State Park. There will be 2-3 different hikes.  A Family Hike (shorter distance less than 2 miles) and a longer hike (closer to 3 miles.  Routes will be determined by trail conditions.   All ages welcome\, however ALL children need to be accompanied by an adult and MUST stay with adult for the duration of the hike.  Flashlights/Headlamps are recommended.  Dress according to the weather.  Layer clothing\, wear warm hiking boots\, warm hats and mittens. Dogs are welcomed and are REQUIRED to be on a 6 ft. leash. \nMeet at the Trailhead Building (8 Mile entrance) Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to start time. \nTravelin’ Tom’s beverage truck will be on hand with several warm drink offerings for purchase. \nHike is free of charge\, however\, a Recreation Passport is required for all vehicles entering the park. \nRecreation Passports can be purchased when renewing your license plates\, at any State Park Office during regular office hours (8 am – 4:30 pm)\, or at Maybury Park’s self-serve kiosk located on the right immediately past the entrance booth.  For further information on recreation passes\, visit www.michigan.gov/recreationpassport

DESCRIPTION:Join us in starting the New Year off on the right foot!  Meet at the Trailhead Building (8 Mile Entrance) for the 10 am guided hikes. \nA hike (approx. 1.5 miles) will be offered for those desiring a shorter hike and ideal for families. A longer hike (2-3 miles) will be offered for those looking to hike a longer distance.  All ages welcome. All dogs need to be on a 6 ft. leash.  Bundle up and join in the fun. DESCRIPTION:Stop by and visit us on Thursday\, May 15th\, from 8 am – 2 pm at the Northville Farmers’ Market. \nNew Location:  The corner of & 7 Mile & Northville Rd. \nGet info on the Friends of Maybury State Park events\, programs\, and volunteer opportunities.  Weather permitting\, the Action Track Chair will be on display.  This chair is for those with mobility issues to get out and enjoy Maybury State Park. \nA great way to support the local farmers and community.
