SUMMARY:Owl Prowl Hike
DESCRIPTION:Join the Friends of Maybury State Park as we try to entice resident owls to respond to an artificial call. A 15 minute educational presentation will be given prior to the hike. Space is limited to 120 participants. \nMeet at the Trailhead Building (8 Mile entrance)  Please arrive 20 minutes prior to start time. \nReservations are required.  Click here to sign up:  Owl Prowl Hike Participant  \nRegistration closes Thursday\, December 4\, 2025 \nThis event is currently full.  If you registered and find you are unable to attend\, please email at us mayburystateparkfriends@gmail.com  ASAP and no later than Wednesday\, December 3\, 2025\, so someone else is able to participate.  You may also use the Contact Page on our website to cancel/reach us.  Please do not call the park to register or to cancel your registration. \nDue to safety precautions\, we only have a limited number of spots available and we are unable to add more.\nPlease check back to the sign up link as any cancellations will open up spots for additional participants.\nUnfortunately\, a waitlist is not available for this event.  Walk-ins are also not available for this hike.\nTravelin’ Tom’s beverage truck will be on hand with several warm drink offerings for purchase. \nA Recreation Passport is required for all vehicles entering the park.  Recreation Passports can be purchased when renewing your license plates\, at any State Park Office during regular office hours (8 am – 4:30 pm)\, or at Maybury Park’s self-serve kiosk located on the right immediately past the entrance booth.  (8 Mile Entrance)  For further information on recreation passes\, visit Recreation Passport
