SUMMARY:Full Moon Night Hike
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Full Moon Night Hike through Maybury State Park. There will be 2-3 different hikes.  A Family Hike (shorter distance less than 2 miles) and a longer hike (closer to 3 miles.  Routes will be determined by trail conditions.   All ages welcome\, however ALL children need to be accompanied by an adult and MUST stay with adult for the duration of the hike.  Flashlights/Headlamps are recommended.  Dress according to the weather.  Layer clothing\, wear warm hiking boots\, warm hats and mittens. Dogs are welcomed and are REQUIRED to be on a 6 ft. leash. \nMeet at the Trailhead Building (8 Mile entrance) Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to start time. \nTravelin’ Tom’s beverage truck will be on hand with several warm drink offerings for purchase. \nHike is free of charge\, however\, a Recreation Passport is required for all vehicles entering the park. \nRecreation Passports can be purchased when renewing your license plates\, at any State Park Office during regular office hours (8 am – 4:30 pm)\, or at Maybury Park’s self-serve kiosk located on the right immediately past the entrance booth.  For further information on recreation passes\, visit www.michigan.gov/recreationpassport
