Around 50 people bundled up and braved the sub-freezing temps to join us for the New Year’s Day Hike, including members from Boy Scout Troop 1241.
There is no guarantee that you’ll actually see or hear owls when you sign up for an owl walk. But that wasn’t the case at this year’s Owl Prowl at Maybury State Park.

It was a beautiful Saturday morning to learn about Maybury State Park’s unique past as a tuberculosis sanatorium (1921-1969).
It turned out to be a gorgeous evening for all who came out to hear the very talented Northville High School Vibes.
