Full Moon Night Hike

Join us for a Full Moon Night Hike through Maybury State Park. There will be 2-3 different hikes.  A Family Hike (shorter distance less than 2 miles) and a longer hike (closer to 3 miles).  Routes will be determined by trail conditions.  All ages welcome, however ALL children need to be accompanied by an adult and MUST stay with adult for the duration of the hike.  Flashlights are recommended.  Dress according to the weather…warm hiking boots, layer clothing, and wear warm hats & mittens.  Dogs are welcomed and are REQUIRED to be on a 6 ft. leash.

Meet at the Trailhead building (8 Mile entrance) 5-10 minutes prior to the start of the hike. Due to colder temperatures, hike will start promptly at 7 pm.

Travelin’ Tom’s beverage truck will be on hand with several warm drink options for purchase.

Hike is free of charge, however, a Recreation Passport is required for all vehicles entering the park.

Recreation Passports can be purchased when renewing your license plates, at any State Park Office during regular office hours (8 am – 4:30 pm), or at Maybury Park’s self-serve kiosk located on the right immediately past the entrance booth.  For further information on recreation passes, visit www.michigan.gov/recreationpassport
