Maybury State Park turns 50!
Come one, come all to the Maybury State Park 50th Anniversary Celebration! Help us celebrate this special occasion on Saturday, June 21st, from 1-3 pm.
All are welcome to the community open house where we will have activities and games for visitors of all ages.
Activities to include:
- Short history hikes at 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm
- History photos
- Action track chair demonstrations
- Games
- And, of course, CAKE!
The Welcome and Cake Cutting ceremony will be at 2 pm at the Eight Mile Road entrance Trailhead building.
This celebration is free, however, a Recreation Passport is required for all vehicles entering the park. Recreation Passports can be purchased when renewing your license plates, at any State Park Office during regular office hours (8 am – 4:30 pm), or at Maybury Park’s self-serve kiosk located on the right immediately passed the entrance booth at the Eight Mile Road entrance.
