7 Mile Non-Motorized Entrance Ceremony

Join the Friends of Maybury State Park, DNR, community members and leaders at the official dedication of the Maybury State Park Seven Mile non-motorized entrance. It’s time to celebrate the completion of a project that will help connect non-motorized pathways throughout the region and benefit all of Southeast Michigan.

Event will start at 2:00 pm (arrive at 1:45) with a group walk from the East parking lot (Eight Mile Entrance) to the 7 Mile entrance, followed by a short ceremony, light refreshments, and a return walk to the parking lot.  The walk is approximately 2 miles roundtrip and is on paved surfaces. Nearby residents can join event at 2:20 pm at 7 mile.

Notice: There is no parking on Seven Mile or adjacent neighborhoods.

Acknowledgements will be given regarding the collaborative efforts that made this entrance a reality.
