Help protect Maybury State Park’s trails and woods.
Join us for a hands-on event pulling invasive garlic mustard so native plants, trees, and wildlife can thrive.
We’ll provide basic instruction and show you how to spot and remove garlic mustard safely. Come ready to work outdoors, meet community members and care for a park that belongs to all of us.
Volunteers are welcome to participate in as much or as little as they desire.
There will be two sessions: 9:00 am – 11:00 am and 1:00 pm – 3 pm
Dress for the weather as this event will take place during rain, however, it will be cancelled in the event of thunder or lightning.
Wear work gloves, sturdy shoes, long pants. Bring bug/tick spray, water and snacks.
Ticks are active at the park so long pants are highly recommended.
